Common questions

Yes. The Free plan has no credit card requirement and no expiration date. You get:
  • Local proxy, hooks, and browser capture
  • 200 stored hook sessions (proxy and browser are unlimited)
  • Full-text search across all your sessions
  • Session sharing via link
  • Up to 5 collections
  • Context export for handoffs
The only feature that’s exclusively enterprise is the hosted Enterprise LLM Gateway. Everything else on the Free plan is yours for as long as you need it.
When you subscribe to either the Paid or Enterprise plan, your first 3 months are completely free — no charge until day 91. You get full access to all features in your plan from the moment you subscribe.

The Paid plan is designed for developers who use AI tools daily and want their session history to be searchable, safe, and exportable without limits.
A session is one of the following:
  • Hooks session — one continuous agent run captured via Claude Code or Gemini CLI native hooks
  • Browser session — one conversation captured via the browser extension (ChatGPT, Claude.ai, Gemini)
  • Proxy session — one request record captured via the local API proxy (rclm-proxy on localhost)
  • Gateway session — one request record captured via the hosted Enterprise LLM Gateway (proxy.reclaimllm.com)
Local proxy and enterprise gateway sessions both store request metadata, model, duration, and token counts when available. Full conversation transcripts are stored for hooks and browser sessions.
The 200-session limit on the Free plan applies only to hooks-captured sessions. Local proxy and browser sessions are unlimited on all plans. The hosted Enterprise Gateway is Enterprise-only.

When you’re added to an Enterprise organization, your account automatically upgrades to match your team’s access level.
Encryption protects the raw content of your session transcripts at rest. Here’s how it works at each tier:Paid users:
  • Toggle encryption on from your account settings
  • Download your one-time recovery key and store it somewhere safe
  • Your raw session transcripts are encrypted; summaries, stats, and search metadata remain accessible without decrypting
Enterprise:
  • The org admin enables org-wide encryption across all member sessions
  • Admins control whether other admins and team leads can open encrypted member session details
  • Session summaries, statistics, and search metadata continue to work without full decryption
Download your recovery key when prompted. It is shown only once. If you lose it and forget your password, you will not be able to recover the raw content of encrypted sessions.
Yes. The ReclaimLLM server is open source and can run on any infrastructure you control.
  • Individual / small team: run it anywhere — your own server, a VPS, or a home lab
  • Enterprise: a supported deployment path inside your VPC is available; contact [email protected] to scope it
  • Packaged Helm chart: a fully packaged on-prem offering is coming soon for teams that need a one-command enterprise install
Self-hosted deployments still benefit from all the capture methods (proxy, hooks, browser extension) — the server is the only piece that moves to your infrastructure.
The local proxy and browser extension are unlimited on all plans — there is no cap there regardless of your tier.The 200-session limit on Free applies specifically to hooks-captured sessions (Claude Code, Gemini CLI). Once you reach 200 stored hook sessions, older ones are removed automatically as new ones arrive.To avoid losing sessions you care about, you have two options:

Export and delete manually

Export any session as JSON before it rolls off. Delete sessions you no longer need to stay under the cap.

Upgrade to Paid

The Paid plan removes the cap entirely. All hook sessions are kept indefinitely with no roll-off.
