Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026 These terms govern your use of RCLM (ReclaimLLM). By creating an account, you agree to them. We’ve written them in plain English rather than formal legalese. If something isn’t clear, email us.

What RCLM is

RCLM is a capture, storage, search, and context management platform for AI interactions. It lets you record conversations with LLMs across multiple providers and interfaces, search your history, export useful context, and govern team AI usage. RCLM is a tool. We store your data on your behalf. We don’t generate content, don’t provide AI capabilities of our own (beyond session organization features on Paid/Enterprise plans), and don’t make decisions about your interactions.

Your data ownership

You own your sessions. Full stop. By uploading sessions to RCLM, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that data to you — and only to you, unless you take an explicit action such as creating a share link or exporting your data. We use this license solely to provide the service. We don’t acquire any ownership rights over your content. You can export or delete your data at any time. If you close your account, we delete everything.

Acceptable use

You may not use RCLM to:
  • Store or distribute illegal content (including CSAM, content that violates export controls, or material that infringes third-party IP rights).
  • Upload sessions that contain other people’s private data without their knowledge or consent.
  • Circumvent rate limits or access controls through automated abuse.
  • Share exported or public session content that is fraudulent, misleading about its origin, or violates another party’s rights.
  • Use the platform to facilitate illegal data collection or scraping of third-party services.
Violations may result in suspension or termination. We’ll give notice where we can, but reserve the right to act immediately for serious violations.

Sharing and export

RCLM lets you share sessions through explicit links and export your session data for your own workflows, audits, or handoffs.
  • Your responsibility: You are responsible for deciding whether a session is appropriate to share or export.
  • Sensitive content: RCLM may flag credentials, PII, and other risky content, but you remain responsible for reviewing shared or exported material.
  • Access control: Shared links can expire and can be revoked. Enterprise customers may add role-based access, retention, and audit controls.
  • No automatic publication: Sessions are not made public by default. Sharing and export require explicit action.
Paid plan subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing — your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period.
  • No partial-month refunds for cancellations mid-cycle.
  • Launch discount: If you subscribed under a promotional price (e.g., $4/mo for the first 2 months), that price applies for the stated discount period, after which standard pricing resumes. We’ll email you before the rate changes.
  • Failed payments: We’ll retry failed charges and notify you by email. After 7 days of failed payment, your account downgrades to Free. Your data is preserved.

Service availability

We aim for high availability but don’t offer a formal SLA on the Free or Paid plans. We’ll notify you of planned maintenance in advance where possible. Enterprise customers have SLA terms defined in their contract.

Termination

You can close your account at any time from Settings → Account. This immediately deletes all your data. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. For minor violations, we’ll give notice and an opportunity to correct the issue. For serious violations (illegal content, abuse), we may act without notice. If we terminate your account without cause, we’ll provide a prorated refund for any unused paid subscription time.

Limitation of liability

RCLM is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or anything else that can’t be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

If we make material changes to these terms, we’ll notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the new terms. For minor changes (typo fixes, clarifications that don’t affect your rights), we may update without notice. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the current version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada, and you consent to jurisdiction there.
