# AI Compliance Evidence: Control Health Without Content Exfiltration

> Daily control-health snapshots, access reviews, and risk exceptions that produce auditor-ready evidence from ReclaimLLM metadata — never prompts or file contents.

Compliance in ReclaimLLM is an **evidence report** for AI coding controls — not a SOC 2 attestation or certification. It turns coverage, anomalies, gateway usage, offboarding, and alert delivery into daily control statuses that auditors can rely on without seeing prompts, code, or secrets.

<Warning>
ReclaimLLM does **not** certify your organization. Snapshots and exports are designed for auditor reliance; your assessor still owns the attestation opinion.

## What you get

| Capability | What it means |
| - | - |
| **Control catalog (RC-AI-\*)** | Mapped to TSC (and ISO / NIST AI RMF tags) with explicit pass / warn / fail / na rules |
| **Daily snapshots** | Nightly evaluation at 02:00 org time; admins can **Compute preview now** |
| **Population drill-down** | Content-free IDs that made up the latest evaluation |
| **CSV evidence export** | Period-bounded pack of control results for auditors |
| **Access reviews** | Quarterly (or off-cycle) campaigns over keys and members with attested completion |
| **Risk exceptions** | Time-boxed accepted risk with required expiry (≤12 months) |
| **Offboarding hooks** | Member removal revokes owned keys and opens shared-key exposure reviews |

## Guardrails

1. **Content-free evidence** — IDs, counts, categories, timestamps, and file *patterns* only. Never prompts, code, commands, or secret values.
2. **Detection is automatic; enforcement is human** — revoke / rotate / dismiss decisions stay on an admin or reviewer.
3. **Previews before irreversible actions** where the product already requires confirmation (for example key revoke).
4. **Legal hold** — compliance retention never deletes under legal hold; lowering compliance retention warns on Control health (RC-AI-10).

## Control catalog (shipped)

| ID | Title | Evidence source (high level) | Typical result |
| - | - | - | - |
| **RC-AI-01** | DLP enabled on enrolled devices | Coverage / devices with DLP on | pass ≥98%, warn ≥90% |
| **RC-AI-02** | Sensitive reads redacted before transmission | AD-004 gap vs covered counts | gap ratio ≤2% and gap findings triaged |
| **RC-AI-03** | High/critical anomalies triaged within SLA | Findings disposition ≤2 business days | ≥95% on time |
| **RC-AI-04** | Hook tampering detected and resolved | AD-010 resolved within 5 days | 100% timely resolve |
| **RC-AI-05** | LLM traffic through approved gateway | Provider usage vs gateway tokens (Enterprise + configured) | unreconciled ≤1%; **na** if not applicable |
| **RC-AI-07** | Quarterly access review completed | Attested campaign ≤92 days old | pass; **warn** if any SoD self-review |
| **RC-AI-08** | Departed members access removed ≤24h | Keys revoked on remove; shared-key items | fail if own keys late; **warn** if shared-key open >7 days |
| **RC-AI-09** | Security policy changes logged | Admin actors + SIEM delivery when enabled | admin-only + delivery % |
| **RC-AI-10** | Retention executed; legal hold honored | Retention / legal hold / compliance retention days | warn if retention lowered below policy |
| **RC-AI-11** | Security alerts delivered | Alert delivery success rate | ≥99% |

Controls that need later features (vendor register, incidents) are seeded when those features ship so Control health does not show noisy `na` / `fail` rows early.

## Status meanings

| Status | Meaning |
| - | - |
| **pass** | Met the control threshold for that day |
| **warn** | Near miss, soft miss, or recorded SoD / retention exception |
| **fail** | Missed the control criteria |
| **na** | Not applicable (no population, feature not enabled, or enterprise prerequisite missing) |
| **pending** | No snapshot yet for that control |

## Access reviews

Admins create a campaign with a label, due date, and scope (gateway keys, org API keys, members). Items freeze a subject snapshot at creation. Team-scoped keys go to a team lead when possible; reviewers cannot decide their own access when another admin exists (single-admin self-review is allowed and recorded as an SoD exception → RC-AI-07 **warn**).

Decisions are `keep` / `revoke` / `modify` / `rotate` with a required reason. Completing a campaign requires attestation; the product stores `completed_by`, timestamp, and a SHA-256 of the decision set (no cryptographic signature).

Removing a member also creates off-cycle **shared key exposure** items for team gateway keys the departed member could use but did not create. Reviewers choose `rotate` or `keep` (with justification).

## Risk exceptions

A single register covers kinds such as `accepted_finding`, `dlp_exception`, and `control_threshold_override`. Every exception needs a rationale and an **expires\_at** within 12 months of approval. On expiry, status becomes `expired` and reversible prior state is restored where applicable.

On [Signals](/enterprise/dashboard/signals), **Accept risk** on an anomaly finding creates an `accepted_finding` exception and dismisses the finding.
